Now I wish that the pandemic will ends soon, at least you'll be able to visit Italy in person, hopefully inspired by my work. Of course if you decide to visit Italy and Italia Divina will be useful anyhow... let me know!

Shipping is complete!

Hello Backers!

Italia Divina Shipping is complete!

It took much than expected, but finally I confirm that shipping of all Packages has been completed (apart 4 big packages that will be sent tomorrow)!

You should have recieved a maild from BackerKit with your tracking. If you can't find it, you can check your profile or contact me.

So, when?

USA Backers should receive their rewards within 2 weeks. International packages usually take 2-4 weeks (Pandemic may delay packages). I've used e-packet shippings when possible to improve tracking and speed. I hope this will prevent lost packages.

So, this will finally complete our journey to Italy. I apologize for the monster delay we had and I thank you for your awesome patience. During the next weeks, Italia Divina set will be available on Thirdway Industries website. For get notifications on my future releases:

Of course Apocalisse project is also being shipped and I will notify everyone when it's completed as well.

My weekend in Pisa...

Friday I did a quick trip to Pisa, and I brought an Italia Radiosa deck to take this picture. I've realized that the flag of Pisa (the white cross on the red background) is everywhere. I was not aware about the popularity of the flag, honestly, and I am glad I've put it on the center of the card.

For the first time in my life I was also able to climb the Tower, which was an amazing experience.

I hope Italia Divina will help you to discover Italy. I will do my best to take more of those pics in future (send me yours, if you'll be here).

Shipping imminent and Magica/Divina pictures

Hello Backers!

finally all is ready, and I confirm that Italia Divina shipping will start from next week. 

You should get your decks during September. For international backers, there may be delays related to Covid-19. I will send a more accurate estimate when the shipping is completed.

Meanwhile, I got some copies of Italia Divina and Italia Magica - here are some pictures:

Metalluxe Back of Divina and Magica

Metalluxe is very bright, full-bleed and it feels great. 

The only issue is that Metalluxe hot foil is a little less detailed than my other cold-foiled decks (i.e. Apocalisse). The result, overall, is very good anyways.

Here is a pic with diagonal light:

 Fun fact - Full Bleed Metalluxe made the deck almost gilded. You will see in person, the effect is really good.

Magica and Divina Faces

As usual, faces are awesome, especially the silver background:

Italia Divina Box

Italia Divina box is incredible. Pics does not give it justice at all.

Pearlescent paper is awesome, foil is bright and accurate and embossing is deep.

Plus we added an high quality silver holographic seal - I worked a lot with Gambler's Warehouse for improve the seals, and I think the result is awesome:

Italia Magica Box is simple but nice, with 2 metallic inks and black:

Italia is (finally) here!

I apologize for being silent, I was waiting to have valuable content to share - and finally I have awesome news for you :-)

Italia Segreta and Radiosa are here!

I have received the unlimited decks and they both turned out fantastic. 🙂

The best part is, as usual, the colors - Especially the metallic inks, as you can see from the pictures (just consider the light is bad - cloudy day).

Unfortunately USPCC needs some time to complete Italia Magica / Divina because Metalluxe - I think they will complete everything in a couple of weeks.

Italia Divina Box

However, I have something about the Divina limited edition: the prototype of the tuckbox by Gambler’s Warehouse.

Paper is pearlescent and it’s fantastic on its own. I tried a super close up, but in person is way better:

Embossing is super, especially on the back.

Here is a pic of the whole prototype.

So, delivery is scheduled for mid-late August, fingers crossed. 

One last pic, my Firenze Radiosa, inspired by Botticelli's Venus:

Bold by Elettra Deganello

I wanted to share with you Bold, the new awesome project of my friend Elettra. You probably know her since she dedicated an entire series to this awesome city.

Bold is an ode to tyopgraphy and minimal graphics. All the court cards are made by tyography elements.

This project is very italian as well, since it's focused on Bodoni Font.

She also dedicated the gilded edition to the year 1818, when Giambattista Bodoni’s Manual of Typography was published.

Closing surveys and production update

Hello Backers!

Italia Divina is still in production and the ETA is end of this month. I am doing my best for make everything as smooth as possible, so I have closed the surveys and preorders today so I can prepare the shipping in advance and ship as soon as possible. My idea is start shipping in August (fingers crossed).

From now on, it's not possible preorder Italia Divina anymore until the decks will be released.

If you haven't completed the survey yet, DO IT NOW :-))) (I've sent a friendly reminder via BackerKit). Ask if you need assistance.

If you are a backer of Apocalisse, you may have noticed that the cards are ready already. This is beacause Cartamundi is less affected by the Covid-19 lockdown - on the contrary, USPCC is facing heavy delays due the complicated situation (partial lockdown) in KY, USA.

I am telling you this because I may be able to deliver Apocalisse eariler than Italia - if whis will happens, don't worry :-)

Anyways, I won't merge the shipments even if the projects will be ready at the same time. I am using 2 different BackerKits and I don't want complicate things.

Thank you for your incredible patience - I hope the project will turn awesome after this long wait.
